With a few updates key designed to optimize its already large handle, foot and light protection, 4 Speedcross takes comfort soft technical trails to the next level. Pete Cameron, Global Product Line Manager Solomon for Trail Running shoes, explains the impetus for the changes to the line Speedcross.
Solomon presents 4 Trail Running Shoes Speedcross
“Speedcross has been one of the most successful iconic trail running world-wide shoes. So while we are always looking for ways to improve our products, we took care to maintain adjustment, geometry and a padding that are so popular Speedcross. “
When Solomon chose to make refinements are in the language, the heel and outsole. The heel and tongue have been improved to better retain their shape during long and technical, trips to sustainable comfort. The outsole has been redesigned so that each pod is a complete chevron, compared to half of the pods on the previous version.
Complete rafters provide much better grip and durability on the edges of the sole. The texture of the surface of all the pods is uniform, while the height and the size of the legs has been optimized for weight gain.
Overall, the outsole has the same area, hit the ground, but it is much more effective.
That the 4 Speedcross retains previous models is the sole system of Solomon (SCS), Sensifit with Quicklace™ padding and protective toe-cap. Proven at all levels of trail running and racing, this combination offer unmatched fit and gain a foothold on technical trails, as well as protection where you need it.
SpeedCross 4 is available in mesh breathable and waterproof Climashield™ versions for year-round training and racing.
“approached us the refinements to this shoe with caution,” continues to Pete Cameron, “but through many tests in the field and in the laboratory, we did a little better Speedcross once more.”
