For as long as I can remember my mother has been a defender of a lifestyle for most without makeup. Growing up in India meant that she was never encouraged and often not allowed to wear makeup at a young age. Instead, she taught skin care appropriate – how to protect against the Sun and naturally prevent aging. As you can imagine, she spent a lot of his knowledge on me I started experimenting with makeup. While all my friends was presented to the school with faces full of blush and mascara, I didn’t have the right to follow suit. I beg my mother to let me wear bright red lipstick and all brilliant between the two, and she always said, ‘you don’t need makeup, Pataki (which means firecracker). You’re pretty without it. “She also told me that it was not good to constantly paint my skin and then rub it all off.
While I understand his advice now, I went through a good part of my teenage years revolt and wore so much makeup as physically possible. Now in my 30 years, I have really learned to embrace the skin that I am and share the wisdom of my mom with all my girlfriends find myself. I started making it a point to go make-up free as often as possible. It has truly transformed the way my skin looks because I’m letting breathe. I find that it feels cleaner and seems brighter each time. Here are the top five reasons I love go free makeup.
I finally listened to my mother and started to get free makeup
1. It helps heal naturally imperfections
Covering our blemishes with concealer is always a reflex reaction because showing upward in the world, imperfections and all, is a vulnerable thing. But when I give myself time to heal it did wonders and sometimes even accelerates the healing process.
2. It saves time
Jump 10-15 minutes you spend to apply the content of your makeup Kit and he made this thing never take you the time to pass. Like meditation, take the scenic route to work or write your intentions in your journal. All these can promote a healthier mindset and reduce stress (another cause of buttons!).
3. It reduces messes of makeup
I can’t tell you how many times I was embarrassed by a mess of makeup. Lipstick on the teeth. Tried eyeliner. Name you it, it happened to me. Average free makeup, you don’t have to keep control of yourself for any mess. A beautiful thing!
4. It helps keep the skin hydrated
Suck a lot of foundations and powders pulls moisture out of my skin and the cleaning of all of these products out of all the days to my skin. Not cute!
5. It prevents future eruptions
Buttons are usually the result of a clogged pore infected, which has often exacerbated for me by heavy foundations, brushes and dirty make-up constantly touching my face with my hands. I like to let my skin experience fresh air again by jumping the makeup – and I noticed that the eruptions are much less frequent.
So the next time you’re ready to leave your home and automatically begin to apply a face full of makeup, take a moment to look in the mirror to see if you really need it. How your skin would be different without it? You can kiss the skin, you are? I dare you to try free makeup as an experiment classes to nourish your skin and your confidence. You may be surprised saying how you feel
